The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a first-come, first-served incentive with customers having to register their interest for an air or ground source heat pump. Once the customer is happy to proceed with an install, installers can then apply for the £5,000 or £6,000 grant on behalf of customers and deduct this from the installation cost.
